Update on the ToyRift Rewards Program

At ToyRift, we know our community cares about getting the most value out of every order whether you’re chasing a rare 3rd party Transformer, filling out a MOTU shelf, or grabbing the next Robotech release. That’s why we want to be upfront with you about a change to our points program.

What’s Changing

Starting now, you’ll earn 3 points for every €1 spent, instead of the previous 5 points per
€1.
Your existing points balance is unaffected — this change only applies to points earned on
new purchases going forward. Everything else about the program, including how you
redeem points, stays exactly the same.

Why We’re Making This Change

We want to be transparent rather than quietly adjust things in the background. The short
version: our wholesale costs have gone up.
Like most retailers in the collectibles space, ToyRift buys inventory from manufacturers and
distributors at wholesale pricing, and that pricing has increased industry-wide over the past
several months. Tariffs, shipping costs, and manufacturer price adjustments have all played
a role in pushing our cost of goods higher.
When wholesale costs rise, businesses generally have two options: raise retail prices, or find
another way to protect margins so we can keep offering competitive pricing and still run a
sustainable rewards program. We chose to adjust the points rate rather than raise prices
across the board, because we’d rather keep the sticker price on your favorite figures as
stable as possible.

What This Means for You

Retail prices on ToyRift stay as competitive as we can keep them.
The rewards program remains active — you’re still earning points on every order.
Redemption values and how you use your points haven’t changed. We know a reduced points rate isn’t exciting news, and we don’t take that lightly. Our goal is to keep ToyRift a place where collectors get fair prices and a rewards program that’s
actually worth participating in, even as the cost of doing business shifts around us.
